Leadership
My dad laughs if I threaten him that anarchists are organising - I s'pose I know what he means. I was encouraged by a TV program about Chartists in The UK who were apparently the original socialists and were persecuted for upsetting the middle and upper classes. I wondered if there was a parallel with anarchists coming out of the woodwork so to speak and challenging the contemporary world view. Recent legislation is lending itself more and more to silencing dissident voices which ironically is making it easier to become a dissident. By referring to Fathers for Justice I mean to exemplify a kind of active dissidence not unlike the Merry Pranksters, the Fathers (who promoted the rights of male parents) pulled off publicity stunts to draw attention - they were highly successful and considered highly irritating. I have visions predominantly of placing banners on tall buildings, disrupting traffic and committing way out acts dressed in monkey suits - in other words WREAKING HAVOC wherever possible. I actually think that anarchists are well capable of a degree of collaboration and domestic arragements permitting do I hear the whisper of a suggestion?
