Leadership

My dad laughs if I threaten him that anarchists are organising - I s'pose I know what he means. I was encouraged by a TV program about Chartists in The UK who were apparently the original socialists and were persecuted for upsetting the middle and upper classes. I wondered if there was a parallel with anarchists coming out of the woodwork so to speak and challenging the contemporary world view. Recent legislation is lending itself more and more to silencing dissident voices which ironically is making it easier to become a dissident. By referring to Fathers for Justice I mean to exemplify a kind of active dissidence not unlike the Merry Pranksters, the Fathers (who promoted the rights of male parents) pulled off publicity stunts to draw attention - they were highly successful and considered highly irritating. I have visions predominantly of placing banners on tall buildings, disrupting traffic and committing way out acts dressed in monkey suits - in other words WREAKING HAVOC wherever possible. I actually think that anarchists are well capable of a degree of collaboration and domestic arragements permitting do I hear the whisper of a suggestion?

I'm really friendly with more people than I thought possible mind you I have been trying harder - that helps. There's gonna be the odd nasty piece of goods but what I don't understand is that if people are generally pretty friendly, why is there so much misery around? How can I seperate friendly people from unfriendly values that sometimes cause them to make weird choices? I might quite happily pass the time of day with George Bush, but does that make him friendly? I think I do two things which cause people to be friendly to me at least: one, unconditional positive regard and two, being as non-judgemental as I possible can - oh! I smile alot too and use shedloads of positive encouragers. Rule 1 - people aren't stupid but they sometimes do things that hinder their happiness, I s'pose I am learning new tricks and keep on doing things that make me happy while trying to stop the things that get in the way. At times I have been utterly miserable, as I grow the misery is being gradually replaced by acceptance so I accept people because I see misery in them too and their own struggle to achieve acceptance. I will wager that George Bush and Tony Blair have not discovered their inner peace - I wish they would try and be friendly to people who don't believe the same things they do!

Reality cheque

HI! I'm hammered, "pleased to me you." there are some rampaging anarchists around here somewhere - have you seen them?
Not me mate - I ain't seen no anarchists. Defile them I say then get them their own homeland.
Thousands upon thousands of them and no-one knows they were there.
In the non-history of history not is annalled the movements of the millions who failed to act.
Because non history means doesn't exist.
I do not exist indellibly - traces of my existence are temporary, as if I might never have existed and then yes! the ancient words: "all is vanity." If narcissus stares at the reflection of its face, looks deeper - WHAT DOES IT SEE?? - a pool. Plato attempted to warn us about the shadows on the walls. Appearance only is real but then is it really?

I think therefore I act

There's this horizon that promises a good view at its end. I test the boundary of breaking the law - it is my act, I gee myself up, once crossed never return. It's simple - a layby where cops park to catch speeding cars - and me with a can of paint, spraying SCAB on the tarmac. But why on earth, you fool! Mainly 'cos the state pricks make alot of money off the backs of people they have themselves 'set up' - people in a hurry to fuel the economy that fucks the poor and greases the greedy. If prosecuted I get a record possibly and some embarrasment and if I don't then encouragement to try again - the future's a gas mainly - just that act those five minutes to drag the good old horizon right up to my nose. But heh! The confidence, the bravery to act subversively to bring the state to its knees - oh boy! did we kick some ass you son of a bitch! (Anyone got any paint cans?)

Unfortunately replacing fossil fuels with vegetable oil can't save this planet, as this is only a single aspect of the problem. It is of relevance that conspicuous consumption poses an equally fatal threat as global warming. Does guerilla warfare, if conscionable, offer a means of impairing the world's consumer binge? If it is true that global warming and mass consumption is fucking my life support system, is it not reasonable for me to seek to contact other anarchists to seek the demise of the institutions and systems responsible for the former? Do the calculation: the likelihood of major social change by peaceful means in good time to reverse planetary destruction? One could trust the spiritual forces at work in respect of this and they are surely powerful, but life combines the human and the 'divine' and I argue humanly that direct action is necessary also.

ANARCHY IS HERE!!

Existentially speaking life is a nightmare - everywhere there is freedom, free association, free speech, free condoms... Verrily do we have heaven and nirvana already - teachings as alive to day as first propelled to the Now. Salvation will be here, 'help is on the way!' Our beliefs converge quicker and WHAT WE DREAMED FOR IS POSSIBLE. The world's Piss Artists are hard it in the early hours, steering the globe to utter realisation, I am just an anarchist, my brothers and sisters whistle similar tunes, you are part of the solution, there are no problems! Anarchists haven't got all the answers - there is a new generation, they know best - the king is dead! Long live the underclass!

DEATH PENALTY

No body has a right to life because no one can 'create' the right because rights inevitably spawn institutions. Every moment, event, situation, has l;ogic in it - sometimes you have to die, sometimes you have to kill. Death Penalty is a weird one - a burlesque parody of the life and death situation. It is the highest echelon of the legal and judicial obscenity, where state usurps the right of the individual (the logic of ethical codes anyway) and coercises it to die. This is ure actual smug oppressor for you. Merely to step outside in order to behold the non-necessity of the state permits the realisation that states are naked emperors running perilously close to jeopardising consent at each swing of the pendulum of public opinion.

Politicians, poverty and paedophiles

This is all about crime and punishment at least how I understand it - this arose from the rapper's meeting with a senior UK politician. The rapper is said to glorify violence in his music the politician is cunningly accosting the UK's young electorate. It seems they got it on so to speak. The rapper crucially critcised politicians' inability to get rid of poverty. Now why does that appeal to me? Here is a young icon for and of the youth and what is he saying preoccupies the youth - excessive wealth and excessive poverty. [ possible piece on charity of Bill Gates and Richard Branson etc... ]

And this is where we start - to what extent is violence of the youth ( and all crime?) attributable to the oppressiveness of hardship and the oppression of richer (and older?) men and women who have gained a "better understanding" of the systems doing the oppression on their behalf?

It is the double whammy of being privileged enough to have institutions that both enslave the people they oppress and beat them at the same time for being oppressed. The sword poised over all our heads is the sword that threatens to descend on our skulls if we ever refuse slavery. Prisoners are the prisoners of the prisoners.

Most prisoners in our prisons are there as a direct result of hardship and deprivation. There are degrees of wealth from owning a car to owning a house to owning a business to being a major shareholder. AT EVERY LEVEL WORKING EXPONENTIALLY, THE SLIGHTLY RICHER ARE SHITTING ON THE SLIGHTLY POORER. And the poorest? What do they say? They say: "fuck you." Then the poop scoop from on high swoops down and clears up the mess...

Never has any politician paused on this relationship - perhaps they have too much to lose.

It became important during the sixties that existentialism had a social and political aspect. In France both Camus and Sartre attempted to fit communism into their philosophical and literary treatises to little effect.

Now as the psychedelic adventure has reached adulthood and existentialism has grown up with and permeated these unsettled times, the time has come to explore again the social and political mores of the two most energetic propellents of our age.

Thatcher has helped the cause more than she knows, society is dead so she says - to-day is the age of the solipsistic individual and the means of bridging the social gap so to speak? Engagement - direct apprehension of the other. Essentially, self as other and according to Husserl, pre-judgemental cogniscence.

Humankind has found the way to make existentialism work, not unlike those trips of the seventies - psychedelic baby has reached maturity, it remains for us to define our terms.

Yes! there is progress - the savoir-vivre in which all participate should be adequate to underpin the stateless state and the norm of individual engagement that is now unfolding during the decades to come.

Two books by Gide describe opposite poles of morality - La Porte Etroite and L'Immoraliste - religious prescriptivism and amorality. What Gide intended I'm sure is that everybody who chose the path of authentic moral choosing should live according to a personally formulated decision-making protocol. In his opinion there were only two conditions to living according to this human code - one, not to rely on presciptivistic tenets and the other, to be wary of making use of others for self-gratification. Caution with the latter relates to a simple human formula - abuse of others is clearly self-abuse which is anti-humanistic and a nonsense to those who reject any Gods and whose only point of reference is then the Self. Mutual abasement is possible and clearly pleasurable but it defeats the purpose of the act - the gratification of the Self because it weakens the self which is ironically anti-self and therefore anti-human.

As far as prescriptivism is concerned, codes are clearly designed to promote choosing that aims to cement social relations and ground the Self. Unfortunately in as much as they require those who are choosing to recognise the ascendancy of one god over another and/or simple human will, they fail to reach the level of generalisation. Prescripitivist codes in practice interfere with each other, does this demonstrate the superiority of humanism over deism? Namely that the best morality that humanism can offer (enshrined in the works of Andre Gide) and clarified above is of greater use to those undergoing lived experienced and less divisive than the Word of God?

WHAT IS T.R.U.S.T? Trust is a rare himalayan plant... Trust is liking someone... Trust is being liked by someone... Love perishes without Trust... Love among peers is trust absolutely. The love of the group is cherishing them that love is hurting/has hurt. Trust is neither spiritual nor secular - it is that that binds the anarchist state - love goes wanting for the sake of trust yet trust neither abhors love nor flaunts it. I trust in the goodness of people yet I reserve judgement on the wisdom of my trust.

'To trust a person with my life' means a lot of outcomes - I trust my wife to report on my moods and I do so much that her judgement of me has become my judgement wholly owned by me. I am entangled to the point of ignoring where I commence and she ends and THAT IS A SOURCE OF SUCH FUCKING STRENGTH. People trust me I trust them - they love me (cough! cough!) and I love them (miew! miew!).

We don't need a fucking goverment all I need is you!!

Guilty state

The school wants to involve parents in its sex education of children, how quaint! At bottom the state is ashamed of usurping the power of people it has no right (or duty) to replace. Oh! the barefaced shame of Leviathan! To hell with your consultations and 'information sharing' - I have your measure Medusa - off with the head of the state!!

False alarm

My cancer 'expert' so kindly apprised me of the mistake my GP ('expert') made - ' no this is not a melonoma - it's quite benign' - as if he needed to say - I'd have a fairly good idea if my life was in danger thank you very much. At the end of the day on quietly accosting my only friend 'The End', just as he frightens me I'm suddenly much more alive and I know for sure that yin is the friend of yang and that ye! though in the middle of life, we are in death. As the eye of yin (death) is in yang (life) so the eye of life (yang) is in death. There is no more elegant a mathematical formula.

ADIEU

Yes friend - from the 11th I begin day shifts with less time to write these ditties from the early hours that no-one is minded to comment about - I make no secret of my credentials as an anarchist thinker and writer, whatever I achieve in this Land will by my little donation of grist. If you work in this vein and you feel workers should unite, like me you are probably working towards procuring freedom from all tyranny gradually and at some point in the not-too-distant future. I feel constantly on death row more physically than morally or psychologically - I have no idea what my blog is worth to you but it represents my whole life to me. I'm up to 49 posts so far aiming to do a ton in the weeks to come - as I say it matters little what you think of it, actually it does at a certain level, but it makes me stronger the further I go and more committed than ever to overthrowing all oppressors.

CONTEMPT OF COURT

Nowhere and no-one is free. Flags fly in every corner of the Earth - the law rules far and wide, no-one is spared from entanglement. Many of us would choose life without law, life without flag or affiliation, yet where can we stay? It's too corny to be 'free in our hearts and minds' some of us would choose to forgo the security provided by states which in truth have no legitimacy beyond a coercive kind of social contract originating from greek myth. A man accused of passing a joint to his friend accuses the court of its own erroneous legitimacy, the justice holds him in contempt of court. "YOU!" "YOU!" said the man, you my friend, I truly hold YOU in contempt. All institutions are in contempt of freedom, freedom holds the state in contempt of LIFE!

WORLD ORDER

Do you yearn for peace on Earth? Have all the politicians missed the point? All I can hear is their lies and false promises. You know what's needed don't you? Something very simple and quite obvious - 'paradigm shift.' Of course it upsets them, of course they oppose it - their raison d'etre depends on the prevalent global model. I invite you to join me in boycotting the state and the economy, in disabling fuel supplies and starving the existing world apparatus of our indispensible patronage they refer to as our 'need.' We must plan to protect vulnerable individuals as the world order transfers to a new power base - individual/global. World leaders no longer hold out hope - every morality is bankrupt yet yet! people are emerging who believe nothing and accept everything and still we wait, we wait, we wait.

VEIL OF TEARS

Britain risks dissolving into blurry broth of acceptable racial expression. The surest path to a safer future lies in the accentuation of racial differences, not bland conformity. The mystery and otherness of foreign national costumes make our streets more colourful, not dangerous. People who fear religious expression such as Islam or Christianity and call them 'evil', don't make our streets safer, quite the contrary. There exists an opportunity in England to carry out the experiment of suspending its ethnic domination by Anglo-saxons in order to demonstrate the undoubtable superiority of cultural diversity. Britain has always shown moral leadership to the world (sometimes misguidedly such as international evangelism) so let the bells ring and the mullahs wail, in the temple of mystery the veil was rent.

Teach your children well

"Teach your parents well", just means 'let it be' in another's fine words. On the one hand stands a group who knows where it's been and onthe other, a groups who knows where it's going. Essentially CSN showed greater interest in how we go, not where we go - it's always the 'how' that gets us there, not the 'where'. Kids are full on with 'how' and adults rely a little more heavily on the 'where', indubitably when how and where are combined, hey presto! real progress!

Zen of advertising

It's surprising how little analysis there is of the art that is television advertising. Is it me or is there a huge pool of analytical effort in front rooms that enjoys carefully dissecting those mega-buck 30 second epics between Corrie and The Bill?

Most notably those shrewd gurus of suggestion predict how long people take to think the next link in chains of association they (the gurus) intercept at that very moment with a clinching image or soundbite.

What price these prostitutes of visual poetry? Armed with masters or phds in psychology, their pimps cut them a good 100K plus for those sexy little tricks they turn in our front rooms night in, night out.

In a world of scarce resources the multi-national is king and continues to lord it in our living rooms as long as our third eye flickers laciviously at the back of our (predicted) cerebral cortexes.
