My aching aching heart .... aarrrgghhhh......

Hi Doug

"Consent to organ donation" presupposes that citizens consent to the question being posed, which has been answered in advance by the legislation and which requires a titanic negative in order to "switch off" the directive. I like many citizens object to this impertinence where the government has set up a neat trick in order to trap us in an ethical obligation.

Is the modern idea of citizenship that citizens should be equipped to actively decide on a range of ethical problems? Has scepticism become passee or is there further evidence here of modern facism creeping its way in to liberalism, which is no longer defensible but to which facism is surely not the answer?

Three (pay) could be or (phones) four u or six (pack) or eight (crime). It's not sechs or (doggy) doos nor elf(ling) nein is a hot favourite with the winner quite likely to be fuck off which is not a number although "bird" points to the truth as in 'I explore your back passage with my sticky digit - which plethora of information I have not shared with Doug Naysmith MP who is however a doctor and knows how to find a throbbing faecal heartbeat. Cough.

1000 shampoos, 1000 models of car, individualistic clothing, personal style? Thank you capitalist consumerism for the freedom of choice... Are people so stupid they buy into this shit?

I aspire to freedom by which I mean: what do I mean? I do not choose to choose crap, I choose because it is a huge burden I have to bear. Are you so stupid that you cannot tell the difference?

Bling has blinded you so badly my brother. Shall I assume you can see the point of view or am I making an ass out of you and me?

You have no moral stance, you are far too cool - I live the ethics this piece of writing seeks to convey but I have to assume that you are too cool to care and far to cool to think that this is anything other than sad.

Of course you are right to do these things, you sense the value of all that surrounds you, you observe the mantras of the life you live in honesty and duty.

I say this - you make a big mistake! You are the strongest of individuals yet you ignorantly follow the icons of your day and "look" like the rest of your peers.

My friend, you are cursed by Samsara the appearance of all things by which true being is judged. Watch as I show you a thing - nothing is as it seems, nor are you, yet you choose to be for others always what you seem.

You will be nothing - life comes to naught, the world to nothing and yet you would SEEM to capable and successful?

You are wrong, by God you are so wrong.

Gordon Brown and George Bush both have one thing in common: they're both male, and they're both politicians (that's two things). They both have testicles (that's four things). Well, six I suppose. Their gobs are on the telly and in the papers to the point of nausea, they have one mouth each (that's two things) and several mouthpieces (each). They have 4 legs, 2 assholes, two pricks and 20 toes. I would say they are truly blessed, as I am blessed with half of what they have between them. They have two lovely wives to comfort them and George's family in particular are doing OK 'across the Pond.' Gordon strikes me as a dark horse but his family in Scotland must be so proud of him. I hope these lines reach you in good health Gran (even though you are dead); that nice Derek Akora tells me you keep me close, as do the rest of the dearly departed. Say Hi to Grandad and tell him to keep counting the sheep, 'he'll know what I mean.'

I HAVE A DREAM

From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. While anarchism remains the goal, albeit far off, worker control of the means, management and ownership of the world economy will be the next great achievement. Consumer choice of the day is scaling new heights of absurdity; gas guzzlers satisfy Thatcher's children, hybrid engines attempt to assuage their guilt. More is spent on superstore signage than it takes to set up stores with no brand name and fewer brands. A car is a car is a car, how absurd that you and yours are valuabler than mine. From each etc... I'm skint mate but I feel less like a stone thrower in a glass house, pretty poetic, eh? Scotland will 'donate' £9m to developing countries, poachers and gamekeepers, not to mention a couple of billionaire landowners - perhaps it's not too little too late, perhaps it's never too late! Just as it is true that world opinion is ruminating on global social justice, so it is true that a form of communism in the making is silently lining up its approach path to land on a pretty little planet called Earth.
